18th ANZAP Scientific Meeting

Join us in Perth 8 - 11 March 2017

The organising committee extends a warm welcome to all ANZAP members to attend the 18th ANZAP Scientific Meeting taking place in Perth from 8 to 11 March 2017. 

The Meeting venue will be the Hyatt Regency Hotel and the Meeting dinner will be at the elegant Government House Ballroom.

The theme of the Meeting is Periodontal Regeneration and Tissue Engineering. Our keynote speaker will be Professor William Giannobile.

Perth is an evolving vibrant city with beautiful surrounding beaches and riverside activities. Doorstep to Margaret River and the Swan Valley. There is something for everyone.

Keynote speaker William Giannobile, D.D.S., D.Med.Sc.

Dr. William Giannobile is the Najjar Endowed Professor & Chair of the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He is also a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering. He received his DDS and MS in Oral Biology from the University of Missouri. He later received his Certificate in Periodontology and Doctor of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology from Harvard University. He subsequently completed postdoctoral training in Molecular Biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Giannobile previously served as a faculty member at Harvard and the Forsyth Institute. He has served as a Visiting Professor at the Biotechnology Institute of Regenerative Medicine at the University of Genoa Medical School in Genova, Italy in 2006 and in 2013 as a Visiting Professor in the Department of Periodontology at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London.
