The 48th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology will be held on 27th-29th August 2012 in Auckland, New Zealand. It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in our scientific programme and experience the beauty of our city and country.

Leading local and international experts will join us to share scientific and medical advances in an exciting and stimulating programme.

As usual, Nephrology Updates will precede the official opening of the meeting on 25th-26th August. These are directed at young nephrologists and trainees, and aim to provide a review of recent progress in clinical nephrology, dialysis and transplantation.

The Meeting will be held at the SKYCITY Convention Centre which is located within walking distance of most hotels in the heart of Auckland. The venue allows participants the easy opportunity to enjoy the city's rich social and outdoor life, and serves as an excellent launch point to the unique sights of New Zealand. You should not miss the opportunity to visit our country's many attractions, such as its spectacular eco-marine and geothermal parks.

Auckland is easily assessable by direct flights from all major Asian and Pacific Rim destinations, and we have negotiated special rates for hotels in all categories.
