Sky Jump

SkyJump is one of New Zealand's most thrilling tourist attractions and one of Auckland's 'don't miss' experiences.

SkyJump can be described as Base Jumping, while attached to a wire – just like a movie stuntman! You'll fall very fast (approximately 85kph) for around 11 seconds, and then come to a very smooth landing in the Sky City plaza below.

Auckland Free Walking Tours

Auckland Free Walking Tours is one of the most convenient and insightful ways to explore the City of Sails. As an added bonus, because this organisation loves our beautiful city so much, there's no cost associated with the tour. A simple Koha or donation is recommended if you feel enlightened or enriched after experiencing one of our amazing Auckland Free Walking Tours.

All you need to do is turn up to the Queen's Wharf information kiosk at 10.30am, look for your friendly guide (they'll be holding a bright blue umbrella) and be prepared to embark on a 2.5- to 3-hour history lesson that traverses through Auckland's most important landmarks (and it's hidden gems). Taking off from Auckland's downtown, the walk heads up through Britomart Transport Centre, taking you through the city's pedestrian laneways and right up to the recently renovated Auckland Art Gallery. You'll then wander through the historic Albert Park and University of Auckland, before heading back down to Auckland's famous viaduct precinct and across Te Wero Bridge, concluding among the hustle and bustle of the always-interesting Silo Park.

For more information check out the Auckland Walking Tours website to stay up to date with this fantastic collective.

Ronan Keating

Touring in support of this his 10th studio album, aptly entitled Time Of My Life, Keating says: "This is the music I've always wanted to make. This is who I am and it feels absolutely right. To go out with all this new material, and playing guitar, will be so exciting. These songs were written for live performance."

His 10th studio album, Time of My Life (out now through Universal Music New Zealand) finds Ronan back at his very best - worldly wise, with a bevy of self-penned, heartfelt and revealing songs. 12 tracks that move between touching acoustic moments as felt on lead single 'Let Me Love You', to the anthemic 'Don't Think I Remember' and the second single to be lifted from the album, 'Breathe'. These are instantly affecting songs of celebration and emotion, of love and loss, and honesty.
