Orleans

Dinner and a show is the attraction at this Britomart dining establishment where there is live jazz and blues Wednesday to Saturday each week. Orleans is run by Mexico, IKTO, 1885, and Britomart Country Club, and has a focus on hospitality and meals big enough to share. Enjoy the simple flavours of Creole or Cajun food, rich in cream, with seafood, or tomato bases, as well as typical dishes with European influences - think a lot of seasoning and stewing. The desserts will be to die for and includes sweet pecan pie! Open late even during the week this is the perfect place to stop in for a meal or snack.

Sitting on Roukai Lane in the old site of District Dining, Orleans hosts live musicians as well as the dining section. Informal dining is a key part of the lively New Orleans culture, socialising and being treated to music and entertainment is a given along with food! As it was the birthplace of jazz, and home to big bands and brass music; you can expect to hear live music with as much soul as the food on the menu.

The drinks menu features wine and beer choices as well as drinks known in New Orleans. Cocktails include the well-known and loved Ramos Gin Fizz, Creole Red Snapper and Sazerac.
