Symposium Registration Fees

All attendees, including presenters, must register for the Symposium.
Please note that all fees are payable in NZ$ and include 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Full Registration Inclusions
  • admission to all technical sessions
  • a delegate conference kit 
  • morning and afternoon coffee breaks, lunches (including the Closing Lunch)
  • one ticket to the Welcome Reception on Sunday 9 February
  • one ticket to the Symposium Banquet on Thursday 13 February
Day Registration Inclusions
  • Registration only, no social functions are included

Early Bird Fees must be paid no later than 15 December 2013
Standard Registration Fees must be paid no later than 1 February 2013
Late Registration Fees will be instigated from 2 February with payment via credit card required at the time of registration

Cancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel your registration, you may reassign your registration to another person. Please notify Emma Redfern in writing via email (registration@conference.co.nz). If you are unable to arrange a replacement, in order to cover our administration costs, a full refund less an administration charge of NZ$200 will be made providing notification is received by 15 January 2014. After this date, no refunds will be made.

If, for reasons beyond the control of IAFSS the Symposium is cancelled, the registration fee will be refunded after deduction of expenses already incurred. International Association for Fire Safety Science does not accept any liability for any transport disruption or individual transport delays. In such circumstances, the normal restrictions apply.

Whilst the organizers make every effort to adhere to the conference program, it may be necessary for reasons beyond our control, to alter the contents, speakers, timing or venue of the event.

Edit an Existing Registration


You can update your registration online until 30 days before the Symposium (10 January 2014). After this date, please send all changes to Emma Redfern in writing. Should you wish to change your details online please enter your access key (sent to you with your registration confirmation email) in the box below, or alternatively, contact Emma Redfern at registration@conference.co.nz or phone +64 3 379 0390.
