Dates for your diary
Five Passes Training Rides These training rides are a little different in that we are incorporating the 45km road race at Prebbleton as part of the training. These are low key races available for anyone to enter (non registered). A great way to practice bunch riding with grades from A down to E or more. We ride out as a group and back. Makes for an approx 70-80km ride. Come and join us, details below
Date: Sundays in June / July 2009 Time: Meet at 10:10 am Venue: Zero's, 81 Cashmere Road The City Club Winter Series 45km road race is on for the next seven weeks every Sunday at 11:00am. It is graded scratch racing which means you start together in one bunch in your selected grade. This is similar format to Five Passes so is a great way to gain experience in bunch riding. The racing starts outside the Prebbleton Pub at 11:00am. Meet Pete at Zero's and ride out as a group. Follow Pete on Twitter - www.twitter.com/cisportnz to be kept up-to-date!
Fireside chats with Pete! The first one was held on Wednesday 10 June at The Ruptured Duck in Sumner. It was great to see a number of new faces and several familiar ones, who came to see the photos, share experiences from past events and enjoy a delicious pizza or quiet drink in friendly surroundings! Watch this space for future talks!
