Megan has a Business Degree majoring in Hospitality Management from the University of Queensland. In 1990 Megan moved to New Zealand and worked as the Conference Manager at Rydges Hotel (formally Noah's Hotel) and then at the Christchurch Convention Centre.
In 1994 she founded Conference Innovators (CI), and the company has grown steadily in reputation and size since then. CI is arguably New Zealand's leading conference organising company with a full time team of 18 event professionals who are involved with events throughout the country.
Megan has personally managed hundreds of events, across a variety of sectors and dealt with thousands of participants, sponsors, exhibitors and suppliers over the last ten years. The huge sense of achievement when completing a successful event has not diminished over the years and is the driving force in maintaining her passionate hands-on role with each client's event.
Megan is an Accredited Meetings Manager and a current Board Member of Canterbury Tourism.
