Important Information

Thank you for attending the 2010 ANZCA ASM.

New Fellows Registration

The College and Faculty are pleased to offer complimentary registration to the ASM to Fellows admitted to Fellowship within the past two years (following 1st April 2008) who wish to be presented formally during the College Ceremony.  Please note you cannot take advantage of this complimentary registration if you have presented at a previous ASM. It is a requirement that all New Fellows taking advantage of complimentary registration must be presented at the College Ceremony.

The College Ceremony will be held on Saturday evening, 1 May 2010 at 6.00pm in the main auditorium of the Christchurch Town Hall, to be followed by a cocktail reception. In addition to attending the College Ceremony, all New Fellows must attend a rehearsal, which will take place at 12.15pm on Saturday 1 May in the main auditorium.

Whilst the College offers complimentary registration, including attendance at the College Dinner, you will be required to fund your attendance at Workshops, Problem Based Learning Discussions, Quality Assurance Sessions and Breakfast Sessions. A complimentary ticket for an accompanying partner to the College Ceremony will be included. Tickets for additional guests can be purchased (NZD$150) via the registration process.

All Fellows attending the College Ceremony will be required to wear a College/Faculty Fellow’s Gown for the Ceremony.  The required dress will be Black Tie for males, formal dress for females, and College Fellow’s Gown.  Unfortunately, the College is unable to assist you with the loan of a Gown, however, you may be able to borrow one from a Fellow within your region. If you wish to purchase a Fellow’s Gown, a Gown Order form is available to download as follows:

• ANZCA Fellows Gown for Australian Residents
• ANZCA Fellows Gown for Overseas Residents, including New Zealand

For Faculty of Pain Medicine Fellows, please contact  Ms Nina Gilbert at the College. The FPM Gown Order form is available to download as follows:

• FPM Fellows Gown for Australian Residents
• FPM Fellows Gown for Overseas Residents, including New Zealand.

In addition to registering for the ASM, it is essential that you complete the downloadable College Ceremony form and return to Ms Nina Gilbert at the College by 15 March 2010. This will confirm your wish to be formally presented and will ensure inclusion of your name in the printed Program.

If there is any aspect you wish to discuss please do not hesitate to contact the ASM Coordinator, Ms Nina Gilbert, on
