On behalf of the Australia & New Zealand Hepatic, Pancreatic and Bilary Association (ANZHPBA), I am delighted to confirm that our annual meeting for 2010 will be held in Queenstown, New Zealand on 28th and 29th September. This will be a combined meeting with ANZGOSA and promises to be scientifically and socially very exciting!
Invited guests include Bill Jarnigan from Memorial in NYC, Atila Csendes from Chile and John Hunter from Oregan. The focus of the meeting will be biliary, with broad appeal to all general surgeons who ever think about taking out a gallbladder.
As you can see the meeting is on the Tuesday and Wednesday of a school holidays week in glorious Queenstown. Snow is guaranteed (sic) so please join us for what promises to be a great meeting.

On behalf of the Australia & New Zealand Gastric and Oesophageal Surgery Association (ANZGOSA), I would like to welcome you to our conjoint meeting with ANZHPBA in Queenstown, New Zealand.
Whilst ANZGOSA, and its sister organisation ANZHPBA, are relatively new Associations, they have rapidly developed into the key representative groups for upper gastrointestinal and hepato-pancreatico biliary surgeons throughout Australia and New Zealand.
As both Associations are truly trans-Tasman organisations, it is fitting that our first stand-alone combined meeting will be held in New Zealand. Without doubt, Queenstown in a stunning venue. We have confirmed an outstanding international faculty, and the local organising committee has developed a superb scientific program. I am confident that this meeting will be a great success. Reserve the dates and plan to be in Queenstown in September 2010.
David Watson President, Australia & New Zealand Gastric and Oesophageal Surgery Association
