Airport Transfers
There are a number of companies that provide transport from the airport to Auckland central.  Should you wish to pre-book, contact one of the companies below:

Conference Venue
This year’s Annual Conference is being held in the SKYCITY Convention Centre in Auckland conveniently located within easy walking distance to the heart of the city and a fine choice of restaurant options available for your free evenings. Both Conference Hotels, SKYCITY and SKYCITY Grand are adjoined to the Convention Centre itself, making it very accessible for delegates staying in house.

Internet Access
Information on internet access will be provided here prior to registrations opening.

Mobile Phones
Please ensure mobile phones are turned off or on silent prior to going into sessions. Calls and text messages disturb the speaker and audience.

Parking
Parking is available in the Federal Street Car Park located at 65-71 Federal Street. The car park is open seven days a week, 24 hours per day. A discounted rate is available by validating your parking ticket at one of the machines at the conference venue. You must do this prior to returning to the car parking building where the payment machines are located, in order to qualify for heavily reduced daily fees.

Registration Onsite
Your Conference pack will be available for collection from the Registration Desk located in the Level 5 Foyer of the SKYCITY Convention Centre. The desk will be open at the following times:

Sunday 25 July  12noon - 5.30pm
Monday 26 July  7.00am - 5.30pm
Tuesday 27 July  7.00am - 5.30pm
Wednesday 28 July  7.30am – 11am

Refreshments
All day catering (pre-session, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea) is included in your registration and will be served in the catering area of the SKYCITY Convention Centre.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the Conference, function venues or hotel rooms at SKYCITY (unless you have booked a dedicated smoking hotel room).

Special Requirements
Please give details of any special diet or disability assistance required on your registration form.

Weather
July is winter in Auckland and with our temperate climate you should definitely pack a warm coat in your suitcase and umbrella or rain gear.  The mean daily maximum is 14 degrees Celsius in July and evenings are cold.    If you are staying at the SKYCITY Grand or SKYCITY Hotel you rarely need to step outside as these hotels are connected to the conference venues for business sessions and social functions.
