EPIC Workshop: At the edge of something
The EPIC lunchtime session will be a chance to hear about the evolution of EPIC.
Originally EPIC was a national e-licensing initiative to libraries from all sectors throughout New Zealand, however due to strong membership demand the service has evolved to include purchasing access to targeted opt-in resources. Because of this, we now offer our traditional EPIC Packages (negotiated through all of country licenses) as well as adding Opt-in products based on membership demand. At the session Paula Banks will explain the difference between these subscription options, how you can keep up to date with new product additions and what to expect in 2011. There will also be a chance to meet representatives from the EPIC vendors, the EPIC Governance Group and to provide feedback and suggestions!
As a reward for giving up your lunchtime, you will be provided with lunch and more importantly the chance to win our spot prize giveaway - an iPad - kindly donated by the wonderful folk from Oxford University Press!
