Please note that maximum and minimum numbers do apply to these tours so tour bookings will be reconfirmed four weeks prior to the conference. Tours will leave promptly, so please be early; the finish times may vary slightly.
Picton Activities
To give you the opportunity to make the most of your Marlborough experience, a bus to Picton will depart the Marlborough Convention Centre at 12.45pm, returning from Picton at 5.00pm (expected time of arrival in Blenheim is 5.30pm).
If you wish to visit Picton and enjoy the afternoon at your leisure you are able to book a seat on the bus for $25 per person. Alternatively please take advantage of the organised recreational activities below.

Lochmara Lodge Experience
Escape and experience the stunning Lochmara Lodge, a beautiful Wildlife Recovery and Arts Centre set in tranquil Queen Charlotte Sound. You will be delivered to Lochmara via watertaxi from the Picton drop off point and once there you can enjoy a bush walk around the property with information panels on the local flora and fauna, feed the Kakariki (NZ native parrot), take pleasure in free use of the kayaks and of course their fully licensed cafe for local wines, snacks and good coffee while wandering the Art gallery.
For those with time-out in mind, bask in a massage or beauty therapy treatment at the Bath House; Lochmara’s very own blissful escape for relaxation and indulgence. The two room suite offers luxurious and therapeutic treatments for men and women in a peaceful purpose-built building overlooking the bay.
The water taxi back to Picton will depart at 4.30pm to meet the bus back to Blenheim. Cost includes water taxi to Lochmara and return and transport from Blenheim to Picton and return.

Marlborough Sounds Adventure Guided Kayaking
Enjoy an afternoon exploring the gorgeous Marlborough Sounds by kayak, assisted by experienced guides who will be with you every step of the way. Paddle along the northern shore of the harbour and across to Wedge Point and the southern shores of the Grove Arm. The sheltered bays, sandy beaches and holiday homes that surround this area provide a picturesque afternoon paddle. After a refreshments stop, you will paddle to Ngakuta Bay where you will finish your afternoon and be escourted back to Picton to meet the bus. Cost includes guides, equipment, refreshments and transport from Blenheim to Picton and return.
Minimum number of participants is two, maximum number of participants is 32.

Marlborough Sounds Adventure Guided Mountain Biking
For those seeking a thrill or two, join in this fantastic tour which takes you via watertaxi to Waterfall Bay, where you will join the Queen Charlotte Track and spend the afternoon riding around the eastern side of Onahau Bay. The views are stunning and the ride exhilarating! Please note that for this trip you will require a reasonable level of mountain biking skill and fitness to enjoy it fully.
Price includes watertaxi to Waterfall Bay and return, guide, bike hire, Land Coop Pass for the Queen Charlotte Track and transport from Blenheim to Picton and return.
Minimum number of participants is six, maximum number of participants is 12.

Buses for each of the following Blenheim-based activities will depart the Marlborough Convention Centre at 12.45pm, returning by 5.00pm
Coached Wine Tour
With over 100 wine making companies, Marlborough is the largest wine region in New Zealand. Add to this, food producers, olive groves, caf? and restaurants galore and Marlborough really is the gourmet province. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience the very best of Marlborough. Visit four fabulous Marlborough wineries for tasting. Start with the latest boutique winery of Mahi, a producer of stunning wines, for a tasting of the range. Visit Marlborough’s aromatics specialist with a visit to Framingham wines, a winery renowned for its trio of Rieslings. Visit Hunters wines, one of the oldest boutique wineries established in Marlborough and still owned and operated by Jane Hunter. Taste wines and home-made preserves at Saint Clair wine estate, one of the most awarded wineries in Marlborough. Finish the day with a visit to Makana Chocolates for a tasting of divine hand-made chocolates.

Wine Tours by Bike
Bask in sunny Marlborough and explore some of the regions top wineries by bike! The route will be planned on the day to take into account individual abilities and preferences. Travel at your own pace and visit such establishments as Villa Maria, Highfield, River Farm and Fromm on the lovely (flat) roads of beautiful Blenheim.
