2009 has seen important developments in the local research and health care environment: The HRC has published its Signal on Research for New Zealand Health Delivery, and the Minister of Health has stated his intention to improve New Zealanders' access to High Cost and Highly Specialised Medicines.
At the same time, New Zealand is faced with major contraints on public expenditure, requiring that the health dollar be spent as effectively as possible. Our meeting will cover investigator-led research initiatives aimed at optimising New Zealanders' access to oncological medicines within these constraints.

Exhibition
The 2010 Conference Exhibition will be held at the Langham Hotel. The Welcome Function will be held amongst the exhibition on Monday 3 May commencing at 6.00pm. During the conference, pre-session tea and coffee, morning and afternoon tea breaks and lunch will be held in the exhibition area.
