Welcome to the NZSO 2011 Conference

The NZSO 2011 Conference held recently at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland was a great success! 

Overcoming a few hurdles along the way  the conferece would not have been possible with out the sponsors, speakers, delegates and exhibitors who continued to support the annual conference through out the relocation from Christchurch to Auckland.

We cannot overlook the valuable contributions to the scientific programme from our keynote speakers Associate Professor Grant McArthur (AUS), Professor Geoff Lindeman (AUS), Professor John Zalcberg (AUS) and Professor Paul Workman (UK), and the invited speakers Professor Bruce Baguley (AKLD), Professor Bill Denny (AKLD), Dr Peter Fong (AKLD) and Dr Lynette Jones (DUN).

Congratulations again to the winner of the NZSO Translation Research Award, Professor Bruce Baguley, for his continued contribution to the Oncology Field, and to Caroline Kuiper the winner of the Eli Lilly Best Poster Award.

The 2012 conference is pegged to be held in Wellington, keep an eye on the website for more information.
