Awards

Applications are being accepted for the following awards for the NZSO 2012 Conference:

New Zealand Society for Oncology Translation Research Award

The NZSO Translational Research Award is open to NZSO members only.  The Award of $5000 is made by the Society to recognise an outstanding contribution to the field of translational cancer research.  Funding must be used to further research or career development; the recipient will be required to write to the NZSO executive within one year detailing how the award was spent.  All presenters of oral or poster presentations who are members of the Society are automatically eligible and no formal application is required. 




Student/Trainee Travel Awards

There are six awards of up to $800 each available for students or trainees wishing to attend and present at the coming conference.
Applications for the Student/Trainee Travel Award should include a justification including the amount requested (1 page limit), a copy of their meeting abstract, and a CV and be submitted to wendy@conference.co.nz or via fax 03 379 0460 by Wednesday 4 April 2012




The RACP Research and Education Foundation Awards
 
Calling all Fellows and Trainees of the RACP!

The Royal Australasian College of Physicians Research and Education Foundation offers over 50 Scholarships and Fellowships a year, funding a broad range of areas and specialties relevant to physicians. The RACP Foundation would like to draw your attention to the Arnott Research Entry Scholarship in Cancer Research, as well as the new Fellows Contribution awards in both research entry and post higher degree categories, which are intended to provide research funding for the broad membership of the College
