Abstract Format
Size and presentation
Abstracts for presentations must be presented in the following format and are to be no longer than 250 words.
Title and author(s) surname(s) to be in capital letters, bold and the name of the presenting author should be underlined e.g. SMITH Rob and JONES Caroline, Water Products Inc, 25 High Street, Gotham City, UK.
- Do not include titles or degrees
- Font: Arial 12 point, single spacing, do not indent paragraphs
- Check spelling and grammar
- Abstracts will be published as they are submitted and should contain no errors. It is the submitting author's responsibility to thoroughly check their abstract before submitting. Please ensure your abstract is saved in either a pdf or .doc file. No other formats can be accepted.
- Maximum of 250 words
- Please indicate when submitting on-line whether the abstract is for:
- Oral presentation
- Poster presentation
- Workshop presentation
For both oral and poster presentation, please include headings on a new line:
- Background
- Aims/Objectives/Purpose
- Methods
- Results/Outcome
- Significance/Contribution to the field
Please present sufficient data to support conclusions – it is unsatisfactory to use statements such as 'data will be presented' or 'results will be discussed.'
Symposium or joint presentation
If you are wishing to present in symposium or joint presentation (more than one presenter), the Review Committee request that separate abstracts be submitted for each speaker to ensure they all are included in the programme. Each author should note on their abstract submission that they wish to be part of a single organised concurrent session with the same suggested name on each abstract.

| Poster presentation: | Authors will provide a poster for display at the conference. Each author will participate in an interactive poster session on either Wednesday 3 October or Thursday 4 October 2012. |
| Workshop presentation: | Limited availability, additional justification may be requested. |

Acceptance of abstracts
Authors will be advised of acceptance from Tuesday 12 June 2012.
Publication of abstracts
Accepted abstracts will be posted on the conference website, published in the conference handbook and distributed to delegates at the conference.
Publication of presentations
Presentations will be available on the conference website post conference. Details of the presentation submission procedure will be advised to authors on their acceptance.
Registration
All presenters must register to attend the conference and are responsible for their own travel, accommodation and registration expenses. Registration will be available from 1 February 2012.
Presenters must be registered by 1 August 2012 to guarantee a place in the programme.
